Nancy Lau

Hi! I’m a Computer Science PhD student at UC Santa Cruz. I’m currently leading a team for the 2026 Amazon Nova AI Challenge, where my proposal is one of the 10 selected to compete.

Recently led ZeroDayBench, a cyberdefense coding eval for frontier AI models that was done through Supervised Program for Alignment Research (SPAR). It won the SPAR First Place Best Poster award ($2000), and accepted to ICLR 2026 Workshop on Agents in the Wild. My work has been supported by GPU compute credits from Prime Intellect, Lium.io, and Modal.
